Dimitra Koutoulogeni knew from an early age that creativity would define her professional path. Interior Design soon became her natural calling, offering the perfect medium through which she could articulate her passion for spatial composition, form and structure, materials and finishes, as well as colour, texture and fabric — all thoughtfully orchestrated to serve both function and emotion.


She received her formal education in Interior Architectural Design at the prestigious Vakalo Art & Design College in Athens, followed by a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Furniture Studies from Buckinghamshire Chilterns University in London. Equipped with a strong academic foundation and international exposure, Dimitra joined the family-owned furniture company Bella Casa, where she further refined her design language and developed a distinctive approach to interior and furniture design.


Between 2004 and 2010, she collaborated with leading architectural and design practices, working across a wide range of residential and commercial projects. This period proved instrumental in shaping her expertise, allowing her to deepen her technical knowledge, cultivate a refined aesthetic sensibility and establish a solid professional ethos.

In 2010, Dimitra founded DK INTERIOR ARCHITECTURE & DESIGN studio, an Athens-based creative office. The studio is driven by a philosophy rooted in close client relationships, believing that meaningful collaboration is essential to creating spaces with a strong, enduring identity. Working alongside a network of highly experienced consultants and specialists and visiting design exhibitions, it consistently expands its creative scope and elevates the quality of its deliverables.
 

Defined by meticulous attention to detail and a visionary yet pragmatic approach, the studio designs highly aesthetic and functional environments, overseeing each project from initial concept through design development and execution.
