Dimitra Koutoulogeni knew from an early age that she aspired to follow a creative career path. Interior design quickly became her chosen field as she felt she could fully express and combine her love for space management, shapes, forms and materials as well as colours, textures and fabrics – all coming together to meet a specific need.  

With an Interior Architectural Design training at the prestigious Vakalo art & design college in Athens followed by a Bachelor’s degree in Applied furniture studies at the Buckinghamshire Chilterns University in London, she was ready to jump right into the family owned furniture business “Bella Casa” and develop her unique style in the field of interior and furniture design.

From 2004 to 2010 she undertook a vast array of commercial and residential projects in some of the top architectural and design firms which allowed her to hone her craft, build the required experience and steadily develop what would later become her area of expertise.

​

In 2010, Dimitra founded the Athens-based creative interior design workshop DK DESIGN STUDIO. The studio nurtures and deepens its relationships with its clients in order to breathe into every project a strong and lasting sense of identity. They value their partners and work collaboratively with highly experienced and knowledgeable professional teams as they aim to constantly enrich and expand their provided services and results.

With attention to detail and an innovative, inspired and visionary approach, the studio delivers highly aesthetic & functional residential and commercial spaces, from concept and process to production.

Their projects include private residences, leisure interiors, retail stores, hotels and workplaces as well as bars, restaurants, beach clubs and resorts.
